What are injectables?

What is the difference between Botox and dermal fillers?

While both are injectable treatments, Botox and dermal fillers work differently to address skin issues like wrinkles, fine lines, and lost facial volume that become more common with age.

Botox

Botox is a prescription medication made from a purified form of botulinum toxin, the same substance that causes food poisoning. In precise doses, Botox temporarily paralyzes the muscles responsible for crow’s feet around the eyes and frown lines across the brow.

Restylane

Restylane is a hyaluronic acid filler that fills in creases and wrinkles so your skin looks smoother and more youthful. The team also uses Restylane to improve the volume of thin lips.

Juvéderm

Sculptra
